Excellent participation of SYSDE in the VIII Forum of the Micro-enterprise in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The SYSDE staff, led by our President, Mr. Eduardo Wheelock, managed a distinguished participation in the VIII Forum of the Micro-enterprise organized by the BID. The Organizing Committee of the Forum, represented by Mr. Alvaro Ramirez and Miss Forencia Pettigrew, respectively Chief and Consultant of the Small and Medium Enterprise Division of the BID, acknowledged the excellent participation of SYSDE in the exhibition fair of the Forum. SYSDE took part with an impressing 27 square meter stand, where the new corporate image as well as the micro-finance segment were shown. There have been excellent shows and premiums to participants. Miss Desiree Durán, Miss Bolivia 2005, who was the image of the company in said event, acted as host on the stand, together with the SYSDE staff.

Said participation represented for SYSDE a great opportunity of going ahead with the positioning of the mark as the leader supplier of services and technology for the micro-finance industry in the region. Moreover, it was an excellent forum where high level business contacts with prospects and customers could take place, which contributed to strengthen existing relationships and generated new business opportunities.

The event culminated last Friday, headed by the President of the BID, Mr. Luis Alberto Moreno, and the President of Bolivia, Mr. Eduardo Rodríguez. The meeting attracted a record assistance of over 1200 people, among which leaders of micro-finance networks and institutions, representatives of multilateral organizations, givers, opinion leaders and suppliers of the industry coming from Latin America, the Caribbean area, as well as representatives of other regions of the world.
